las películas, siendo el día elegido para el estreno de <em>Harry Potter y el Príncipe Mestizo</em>. La ambición de Warner Bros retrasó el filme a sólo tres meses del lanzamiento. Te contamos cómo fue y cómo ha afectado.</span></span></span></strong></h2>

Warner Bros no pensó hasta muy tarde el retraso, cuando los jefazos de
la compañía, satisfechos con los resultados en taquilla de la nueva de
Batman, se preocuparon por la falta de estrenos para 2009. A falta de
una película nueva, más valía retrasar otra. <em>El Príncipe Mestizo</em> fue la elegida.</span></span></span></strong></h2>

el 14 de Agosto, apenas tres meses antes de la fecha prevista, y la
incredulidad de los fans era absoluta. ¿Se había retrasado el Día de
los Inocentes del año anterior, o se adelantaba el de este? Parecía
imposible, pero las fuentes lo confirmaba.</span></span></span></strong></h2>

Pocas semanas antes se había publicado el primer tráiler, y nada hacía
pensar en una demora. Los productores salieron a justificarse, negando
problemas de producción: el asunto empezaba y terminaba en la
recaudación de taquilla, no lo negaron nunca. Pero el enfado era tal
que hasta el jefe (Jefe) de Warner Bros <a href="http://www.harrylatino.com/noticias/5621/presidente-de-wb-responde-a-los-fans-decepcionados" target="_blank">tuvo que salir a explicarse</a>,
aunque para muchos sus palabras sólo alimentaron el fuego. Según él,
los fans podíamos estar satisfechos ya que tendríamos que esperar menos
tiempo entre la Sexta y la primera Séptima película. Ahí es nada.</span></span></span></strong></h2>

Si las reacciones de los fans no eran suficientemente fogosas, las
empresas que habían contratado productos con Warner Bros no estaban más
satisfechas. La campaña navideña es la más rentable, y ahora se veían
en la tesitura de mantener el lanzamiento al margen de la película, o
seguir a la película al margen de Navidad. Electronic Arts,
desarrolladora del videojuego, no se decidió hasta bien tarde: las
preventas de su producto se contaban por miles, pero el desobedecer a
Warner Bros le podía costar los contratos de los dos siguientes
videojuegos, y quién sabe cuantos más. Al final accedió, pero el asunto
le costó millones de pérdidas y <a href="http://www.harrylatino.com/noticias/5749/el-retraso-de-hp6-desencadenante-de-cientos-de-despidos" target="_blank">cientos de despidos</a>.</span></span></span></strong></h2>
